Last week, we hit two very different publications. The Independent published Nerm’s first national article on the changes at the BBC and iDJ magazine ran a two page spread on Shiva Soundsystem’s tour in India and a rather massive picture of D-Code:
As you may know D-Code is the head remixer for DJ Hero and was on the project from the beginning. When it launched he got interviewed by UK paper The Mirror and a whole load of other stuff too:
SoD-Codeand I (it’s Nerm by the way) toured India and Dubai from November-December last year and we didn’t get a chance to share everything as we were in the middle of a music tornado for most of that time. We threw up a load of stuff as it happened on the Shiva SoundsystemFacebook group but there wasn’t any where central for it all to go. Until now.
We played a shed load of gigs, shot a load of video and had VH1 air our video for Outlawon heavy rotation, which was rather nice of them.
The gigs were off-the-wall amazing (Time Out Mumbai said we were the Biggest Baddest Gig of 2009) and much love goes out to everyone that helped us put them on and, most of all, those who raved with us:
Big love to 21Tigers who always put our tours together in fine style and help do stuff like this too:
As well as 21Tigers, Tiger Beer jumped on board to help put out India:Two. The follow up to India:One but this time D-Code stitched together our tracks:
