Bishwo Shahitto Kendro (BSK) London has organised a Lecture on Human Rights for Women on Monday, the 21st of June 2004. The Workshop will take place at the Brady Art Centre from 6.00pm to 8.30pm. Sultana Kamal will be the lecturer of the evening. Sultana Kamal, the Daughter of Poet Sufia Kamal will speak on Human rights for women and current situation in Bangladesh
She graduated From Dhaka University in English and in Law,MDS from Institute of Social Studies , England . Sultana Kamal started her career as a teacher. She settled in Sylhet for a few years to work on Women’s Development. She also worked for the UN Refugee Development Department in Hong Kong. She was honoured by CNC for her contribution in the Independence war in Bangladesh .Sultana Kamal has been involved with the Women’s Right Activities for the last 25 years.
