BBC covers Bhopal after 20 years with prime time film

On 2nd December 1984 in the city of Bhopal, India, the largest industrial distaster in history killed 8,000 people and injured over 200,000 in one night alone. 20 years later, with many more thousands dead from the after-effects, the city shows little sign of improvement and the authorities seem to be doing little about it.

We also managed to record the full stream from Bobby Friction's set in San Francisco that so dramatically cut out that night at Herbal! You can still hear the buffering issues in the audio, but at least we salvaged the whole set.

We're taking a break from Herbalism over the Christmas period but Supersonic Buddha will be on the 19th December featuring VIMANA Live.

So y'all will be relieved to know that Diwali was celebrated in the White House yesterday. Now that he's probably stolen the election yet again, brown people can rest safe knowing he's not only celebrating your holidays, but planning a trip to India! Makes sense, considering the Republicans outsourced their own fundraising there. But I suspect this is the extent of Bush's knowledge about India.

Bobby Friction has double booked himself to play at Herbalism and at a charity event in LA for the Ahimsa Project. He's still gonna play both via the wonderful world of technology. Sunil has been ripping wires apart at Herbal to make sure that we can get a live audio feed from LA to Herbal where Bobby will do a 30 minute set.
