We're all okay. Thanks to everyone who expressed concern. Love and respect to London and all in the city from Shiva Soundsystem.
I just heard about the terrible blasts that took place in
London. This unspeakable egregious and callous act of destruction haunts me.
My heart goes out to you and the people of London. Please let me know if you
are OK asap...
I must say admire the hallmark of British resilience and sang
froid! From the battle of Britain to the IRA terrorist attacks, you guys are
some hard bastards, Propaw!!! and yet have established such a wonderfully
open and free society. I don't think we can say as much for ourselves
anymore, here, on the other side of the pond.
All my heart and love goes out to you guys! So big up and
respect to da London town people dem.

London Calling - hug random people and spread the love...
I didn't even know anything was wrong -- they got us off the tube at Stratford saying there was an electrical failure on the Central Line, so I got on a bus to work. And then I saw the madness of ambulances and helicopters streaming in and out of the Royal London Hospital and had to get online to find out what happened. Holy crap. Later I walked out east to Mile End and found some buses home. Luckily Mogul (a regular traveller to Aldgate East) had a hangover and hadn't made it out of the flat yet. Random American aquaintances e-mailed to check on me. I think maybe my close friends don't watch the news or something. ;)
Sweetheart, we got the message from Mogul that you were fine. :P
