After three years, four parties and a shit load of good times, it's farewell to Shiva Soundsystem HQ.

The early days:

Now I barely ever watch a Bollywood film, but for the last 2 years Ch4’s been showing films on-an-off at silly o clock, with subtitles. The new session started up again in October I think. Among the films are a few gems, which shatter the usual boring Bollywood mould, although they do also show some repeats and the odd crap love/action story. I recommend staying up and watching a few, surrounded by munchies and a sketchbook.

I dunno if any of you have gotten Shri's latest album, but hearing it reminded me of what a fab live show he put on a year ago (I KNOW none of you were there, yo), so I finally decided to dig out the tape and digitize my favorite part. (8mb, 5min, RealPlayer) For real, the crazy singer from Bombay was the best.

Time Travelers!
Did ya all know the clocks turned back/ forth today (yest). Its messed up my whole day! I went to bed at 4am, slept 2 hours, woke up, had a power nap in the library and ended up late as always. For the last 6 months my wrist watch has been on winter time (+1hr+-15 off) and iv been able to make sense of it. Finally the times change and my watch dies on me.. ahhh its all very confusing..

Tomorrows (todays) Diwali, what? Ya Diwali the Hindu new year or the festival of light, we're in 2030somthing, this adds to my overall confusion…Non the less heres wishing all our friends and family a Happy Diwali and Eid Mubarak from the Shiva Crew
