Tonight as well as Shiva Soundsystem vs Hexion at Herbal, Maneesh the Twisteris playing at Seijo's in Mumbai.

Then tomorrow Sonik Gurus are playing at Zenzi.

Then on Friday we're headlining the Smirnoff experience with Bobby Friction, Hard Kaur and Bandish Projekt.

Oh, and last night I got a mosquito bite right between my butt cheeks...buttbite.jpg

NOTE FROM INDIA

On Friday night we played the afterparty of the MTV Immies (Indian music Excellence Awards). The setting is one of Mumbai's best Hotels, the JW Marriot in Juhu. The booze flowed, the music thumped and mayhem was unleashed.

We played before the Midival Punditz in "The Underground Zone" (a sign that Indian mainstream is accepting alternative music?) followed by our friend Nikhil and his outfit "Submerge". Maneesh the Twister from Dhamaal was also due to play but was cancelled at the last minute for some unknown reason. Still he came and it was wicked meeting him finally. It was the same for Karsh Kale who was also there.

Then we got home at around 7 am... To give you an indication of how the night went here are some pictures of Dee (besides, it’s fun embarrassing him)

Moments ago the always controversial Turner prize winner was announced, I definitely give Simon Starling an award for looking the part of an artist. Personally I was hoping Jim Lambie was going to snatch it, but then again this is coming from the point of view of a graphic designer who likes dizzy floors, bleeding birds (paint bleeding) and spray can messiness.
