Ok this is fairly late in terms of when it was released etc, but i completely forgot to mention that i saw this and it was wicked. Its part of a trilogy of Korean films by Park Chan-Wook. His latest brutally evocative piece is Lady vengeance, which like his other movies Old Boy and Sympathy for Mr Vengeance is about er...revenge.lol. But its funny, fucking twisted and violent, so i'm sure you'd appreciate it.

Thought it lacked the energy of its predecessor oldboy but its kind of hard to follow up oh-daesu's act and this one felt really subdued, regardless of the heavy stylistic choices by Park Chan Wook, especially the way the film slowly faded to black and white as it neared the end.
Even the violence was offscreen this time, and maybe that was a message to all the oldboy obsessed who were jerking off to fight club when it came out in 99.
Can't wait to see what he does with the vampire genre with his latest film.
