Fave "future global culture" moment on last night's Desi DNA -- the camera zooming in on the (half-brown but) very blonde, very blue-eyed Nikki Bedi as she said "How should we feel, as Asians, when our culture is appropriated for fashion?" ;)

Spring audio/visual delights from Watermans

There's a whole spate of new comic book movies coming up, X-men 3, Spiderman 3 (featuring Venom as the bad guy. Woo hoo!), V for Vendetta, Hellboy 2 and one that I'm curious about Superman Returns which also features one of my favourite actors Kal Penn.

Oh, and speaking of Kal Penn, sequels to two of the funniest films I've ever seen are on the way starring him: Harold & Kumar go to Amsterdam and Van Wilder 2: The Rise Of Taj.
